Integration Between Architecture & Landscape - Pu Miao

This exhibition “Integration between Architecture and Landscape”, is a collection of design work by Professor Emeritus Pu Miao, University of Hawai‘i  at Mānoa  School of Architecture.

Professor Miao has been a major force in architectural design in the UH SoA program since he first joined in 1994 until his retirement in 2020. His interest and dedication have always focused on how modern architecture is localized in the Asia Pacific region. As a great educator, he has successfully crossed boundaries between theory and practice.

This exhibition is comprised of six highly selected projects that Professor Miao designed in China, including a few his students' works. Throughout the exhibition, you’ll be able to better understand and simultaneously enjoy the relationship between indoor and outdoor environments, architecture and landscape.
